Pregnancy is a catalyst for change; and I enjoy being part of my patient’s journey through pregnancy and postpartum.
Pregnancy hormonal changes may also bring emotional changes that can range from feeling overwhelmed to depressed or anxious. This can also affect mom’s relationships. I enjoy working with moms who may be experiencing perinatal depression, and provide couple’s counseling through postpartum.
I have been with Kaiser since 2004 as an Early Start Specialist; but have taught childbirth classes at Kaiser previous to that.
In addition to being a Marriage and Family Therapist, I have been a childbirth educator for over 30 years. I am also an Infant-Parent Mental Health Specialist. I have also received advanced training in Perinatal Mood Disorders from Postpartum Support International and El Camino Hospital in 2007.
