“A ship in the harbor is safe. But that’s not what ships are for.”
—John A. Shedd

I love this quote because it reminds me to step outside my comfort zone and to encourage others to do so as well!

I have enjoyed working with children, adolescents, adults and families for the past 17 years. My goal is to provide a safe and nonjudgmental environment where patients can get the information and support that they need to make healthier choices.

I approach the relationships that I build with empathy, authenticity and unconditional positive regard. I feel honored to be a part of my patients’ journey of discovery, hope and healing.

I was born and raised in Sacramento and I enjoy going on road trips (or any kind of trips!) with my family. I am very creative and I love photography, crafting and scrapbooking.

I received both my BA in Psychology and my Masters in Social Work from CSU, Sacramento.

I joined the Early Start team in 2016.
