It is my goal to promote overall health and emotional wellbeing through supportive counseling and resources during and after your pregnancy. A healthy mom means a healthy baby, and I am here to help with stress management, self-care, and to support a healthy lifestyle. Adapting to mood and physical changes during pregnancy can sometimes be challenging, and I am available to assist women in pursuing positive practices in order to have the best pregnancy experience possible.
I enjoy working with women of all ages, and in particular adolescents and young adults. I am very interested in addressing women specific issues including emotional wellbeing during pregnancy and postpartum, the interplay of emotional and physical health, as well as parenting and relationship issues.
Originally from Southern California, I fell in love with and moved to Northern California after finishing graduate school.
I now consider the Bay Area my home, and appreciate the many things it has to offer. I especially enjoy backpacking with my husband and son, and going mountain and road biking right here in our “back yard”.
I have been with Kaiser Permanente since June 2014 when I joined the excellent team at Women’s Health, Antioch Delta Fair.
Prior to joining Kaiser I worked in many different settings including private practice, psychiatry (inpatient and outpatient), as well as community organizations.
