At Kaiser Redwood City, I am part of a prenatal team that emphasizes compassion and encouragement as our patients practice mindfulness and healthy self-care. Our goals are to provide a safe, healthy environment for our pregnant mothers and their babies during and after pregnancy.
In my role as an Early Start Specialist, I specialize in education and support about the risks of using alcohol, tobacco and other substances during pregnancy. Appointments are customized to each individual’s needs and concerns.
Prior to my employment at Kaiser, I have worked in a variety of therapeutic settings, providing counseling services to children, adolescents, adults and families. I have also worked in private practice since 2010.
I have worked at Kaiser in many different roles and departments over the years, including the Department of Medicine (RWC & Mountain View), Health Education (RWC & SSF), and an intern in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (San Bruno).
I am a Bay Area native, having resided in many different cities along the Peninsula and San Francisco. I was born at Kaiser RWC, and also delivered both of my sons at this location.
I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). I graduated from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA, earning a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology.
CAMFT – California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists – Member since 2006
