My favorite thing about working in Early Start is being able to provide the support and resources needed by many of our mothers-fathers-to-be in order to help them meet their goal of having a healthy pregnancy and baby.
My clinical interests are met by reviewing the many prenatal chart documents that our mothers complete, and then meeting with those where it seems that I may be able to offer information (such as maternity leave), resources (like WIC), or education on a wide-range of pregnancy-related topics (including smoking, caffeine, alcohol or other substances). I may consult with a mom’s medical provider to further assist with any special needs.
My family and I are fifth-generation Valley-ites. We enjoy our beautiful outdoors- from the mountains to the beach. Travelling around the USA, especially to our National Parks, have been joyous times.
I became a Kaiser member in 1993. I eagerly became an employee in August, 1994.
