I feel very lucky to be a part of women’s lives during such a transitional time. It’s amazing to witness women be able to make significant changes in their lives for the health of their babies. The experience of pregnancy can bring uncertainty and struggle but also is very inspiring. I see women who are courageous, motivated, and more self-aware than any other time in their life.
As a therapist in the OB/GYN dept, I am able to provide additional support, resources, referrals, and spend time listening to any concerns and questions that might come up. My role is to help each woman have the healthiest pregnancy possible.
My husband and I have a son and daughter who keep us on our toes. When I am home, I enjoy reading, crafts, scrapbooking and taking lots of pictures of our growing family.
I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2003.
