I love working with Early Start and the pregnant women I meet each day. It is an honor and pleasure to support women on the journey to motherhood.
As an Early Start specialist I can provide information, education, resources and support so that women can experience healthy pregnancies and deliver healthy babies. We can discuss the classes and services available at Kaiser Permanente, post-partum depression resources, relationship concerns, general community resources, breast-feeding resources and information regarding taking maternity/paternity leave. I am also available to provide information regarding the potential effects of alcohol, tobacco, and other substances as it relates to pregnancy and breast-feeding.
I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to be a part of women’s lives during pregnancy and post-partum, a time which often inspires us to make changes that we may never have made.
I have lived in the Sacramento area since 1999 and my family and I enjoy all that Northern California has to offer as often as we can. In my free time I enjoy spending time friends, trying out new restaurants, movie nights with my family, reading, exercising, and playing with my dogs.
I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2013.
