As an Early Start Specialist, I am honored to be a part of your wonder, hope, dreams, and the more difficult parts of pregnancy and parenting. I feel that is important to talk both about the awe and wonder of pregnancy, and the challenges and stress. I hope to provide my patients with a safe and supportive space to both share good news and process hardships and challenges.
I was fortunate to join Kaiser’s patient care team in 2011 as a Clinical Psychotherapist. During the pandemic, I obtained a specialty certification in Integrative/Functional Health, which allows me to offer my patients both psychotherapy and natural remedies for most medical conditions, including pregnancy and post-partum anxiety/depression, using a naturopathic approach.
I graduated from U.C. Davis and CSU with honors and have undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Political Science and a master’s degree in social work/Mental Health.
Being a mom is the BEST and HARDEST thing I have ever done, and I cherish every moment. In my spare time, you will find me surfing with my daughter, enjoying hiking/running/walking outside with my husband and dog, and creating new recipes for healthy living.
