Lorna Chiu

As an Early Start Specialist, I would be honored to connect with you and offer support during a major life transition in your life. My goal is to empower the individuals I work with to live by their values and find balance tending to what is important to them, including relationships, career, comfort, and care for themselves and others.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with specialties in perinatal/women’s mental health, Asian American and ethnic minority mental health, and culturally responsive suicide prevention. I am trained in cognitive-behavioral and attachment/relationally-focused clinical approaches. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2023.

I am proud to call the Bay Area my home. Staying connected to my Asian American identity (Chinese/Cantonese) is important to me and a topic I enjoy speaking on professionally and personally. Outside of clinical care, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends over delicious food and cuddling with my cat at home.
