Shoko Horiuchi

Each person has their story, and each pregnancy has its own pathway. Through my work in reproductive mental health, I have come to appreciate how diverse and unique people’s stories can be around pregnancy and child rearing. I am committed to create an inclusive non-judgmental space for individuals to provide compassionate care for people as they enter their parenthood.

My areas of clinical interest include health psychology, perinatal anxiety and depression, pregnancy/neonatal loss, grief, trauma, addiction, and compassion fatigue.  I am a parent, partner, daughter, sister, friend, student, mentor, mentee, immigrant, and many more.  I am looking forward to meeting and learning about you and being part of your journey.
