I enjoy working with pregnant patients, I feel lucky to be a part of women’s lives at such a special and memorable time. It’s so important for a woman to feel understood, heard and supported throughout her pregnancy and being part of the comprehensive prenatal care team at Kaiser Permanente, my goal is to help ensure that happens.

My clinical areas of interest are in mental health and substance use/abuse.

I’m not a native of California but this has been my home for 15 years and I love it! Growing up in Minnesota provided me with good “roots” and a love for the Minnesota Vikings. I enjoy spending time with my family, exercising, reading and traveling.

I began working at Kaiser Permanente in January 2013.

I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2000.

I just completed an online intensive training on Co-Occurring Disorders and Focused Integrated Treatment of both disorders through Hazelden Foundation. The course focused on treating both mental health and substance use issues at the same time, resulting in better patient outcomes.
